The Performing Arts program offers opportunities of unparalleled quality through curricular courses in theatre, broadcast media, and various vocal & instrumental music ensembles. Co-curricular activities are available through our award-winning theatre program for students interested in musical theatre performance, technical theatre, and pit orchestra. Additionally, John Carroll Performing Arts students can participate in school-wide Mass and assemblies as well as represent John Carroll at community events, parades, and performances. Students who demonstrate the highest level of commitment and achievement in Performing Arts are honored through induction to the Tri-M National Music Honor Society and/or ITS, the International Thespian Society. This department has something for every student, both on and off stage.
